These examples show how fear\, illness\, and polarization dissolve as we discover God’s pure and spiritual creation. We can all experience joy and freedom through a deeper trust in God’s presence and power. \nJoin us for Ann’s talk\, “Healing with joy: discovering the power of Love” at 3:00 PM on Sunday\, June 14\, in South Whidbey (Langley)\, WA. The talk is free\, open to the community\, and hosted by and at Christian Science Society South Whidbey 15910 Hwy 525 (@ intersection w/Useless Bay Rd). \nAbout Ann Kneeland\n \nGrowing up in a family that loved and practiced Christian Science\, Ann saw how God heals sickness and relationship problems\, meets financial needs\, solves business issues\, and answers life’s questions. In the Christian Science Sunday School\, Ann learned to rely upon the healing ideas in the Bible\, as explained in Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures\, by Mary Baker Eddy. During her school years\, the ideas in these books healed Ann of headaches\, sickness\, a wart\, a rash\, sports injuries\, and academic anxieties. \nAfter college\, Ann took Primary Class instruction to deepen her understanding of God and to learn to heal more systematically. This understanding guided her in a business career and brought healing solutions to difficult issues. When she and her husband began a family\, Christian Science was a daily help in navigating parenthood\, and in caring for their two children’s health and growth. Friends asked for prayerful treatment and were healed. She began advertising her healing practice in the Christian Science Journal in 2009. \nAnn resides in the San Francisco Bay area of California. In her healing practice\, she discovers more about God and our loving relationship to God\, and simultaneously others are healed\, and lives are transformed. Ann has been a Chaplain in the Marin County Jail\, and has shared Christian Science in commercial radio interviews and with teen and interfaith groups. She loves how sharing Christian Science demands listening to God while speaking from the heart. \nThis free talk is sponsored by\nChristian Science Society\, South Whidbey

DESCRIPTION:Is Jesus’ healing a model for today?\nA FREE Inspirational Talk\nby Alexandre Fischer\nThis talk discusses Christian Science and how it explains the practical application of Jesus’ teachings in daily life\, for anyone\, including through physical healing. Alexandre explores examples from the Bible and shares personal testimonies of healing\, all pointing to the fact that God is not far off\, but here and now. We’re all capable of understanding this for ourselves\, of genuinely feeling infinite\, ever-present Love\, which is God\, and helping others do the same. \nJoin us for Alexandre’s talk\, “Is Jesus’ healing a model for today?” at 7:30PM on Tuesday\, June 16\, in Bellevue\, WA. The talk is free\, open to the community\, and hosted by First Church of Christ\, Scientist\, Bellevue\, WA in their church building at 841 Lake Washington Blvd\, NE\, Bellevue\, WA. \nAbout Alexandre Fischer\n \nPracticing law in France and the United States for several years informed Alexandre’s practice of Christian Science. The law was not just his job\, he says\, it was his passion. To Alexandre\, being a good lawyer meant exercising the ability to think precisely and feeling a desire to help others get out of trouble. \nDuring his years as a lawyer\, his interest in Christian Science grew. At first\, he was impressed by its remarkable healings and resolutions\, but as he dug deeper\, he found a profound spirituality. He used to believe that religion and spirituality meant accepting a system of beliefs and letting go of discernment and critical thinking. But the more he studied and practiced this spirituality\, the more he found that one’s relationship with God requires critical thinking to understand spiritual concepts. These concepts can in turn be applied to one’s life to bring healing. \nGradually\, he gave up his law practice to become a full-time Christian Science practitioner. Alexandre still works to help others “get out of trouble\,” that is\, to overcome a sense of limitation and to find freedom. \nAlexandre discovered that Christian Science is not just about feeling better or fixing problems. It’s about being willing to challenge one’s world view as entirely molecule-based and soulless\, to be open to see the world as spiritually-based\, and experience how this change in perspective brings inner peace and healing. Christian Science helps us understand our relationship with God\, infinite good\, more clearly. Its teachings help us see Christ Jesus’ message in a non-dogmatic way\, bringing healing\, harmony and freedom to our life. \nThrough healing and lecturing\, Alexandre works to enable others to find this same freedom. \nThis free talk is sponsored by\nFirst Church of Christ\, Scientist\, Bellevue WA
