DESCRIPTION:CS Committee for Institutional Work in the State of Washington invites you to their 2025 Annual Meeting on Saturday\, November 15\, 2025\, 10:00am-12:00pm.\n\n  \n\nPlease join us this year! We will be presenting the Effulgence Foundation’s Julian Alco film. The Julian Alco Story is wonderfully refreshing for current workers\, and a true inspiration for institutional work.\n\n  \n\nHosted at First Church of Christ\, Scientist\, Bothell: 18301 102nd Ave NE\, Bothell\, WA 98011\n\n  \n\n\nThis meeting will be in person with a Zoom option*. For Zoom attendees\, Effulgence Foundation will share the written articles so all attendees will have the opportunity to learn about Julian Alco’s tremendous work.\n\n  \n\nA Brief Summary of Julian Alco’s life\n• Introduced to Christian Science by his mother / both had been members of the Jewish faith\n• Studied with Sue Ella Bradshaw in 1914\, a pupil of Mary Baker Eddy\n• Joined San Francisco CS Church in 1914 / appointed CS Chaplain at San Quentin in 1916\n• CS Journal listed Practitioner / Healer in 1922 at 40 years old\n• Appointed Director\, CA State Board of Prisons by Governor Friend W.
