Here you’ll find information about Christian Science and its discoverer, Mary Baker Eddy—including all of her writings, a variety of Bibles and Bible research materials, as well as other books and magazines in various languages, children’s products, music CDs, and The Christian Science Monitor. Christian Science Institutional Work
Christian Scientists have been serving as “religious workers” in Washington state institutions and care facilities for more than a century. That means they support residents of local jails, state prisons, mental institutions, juvenile homes and care facilities through a variety of activities, including:
- meeting one-on-one with residents or inmates
- conducting Sunday Christian Science services
- conducting Sunday School classes
- supporting branch church-sponsored lectures
Joint Literature Distribution Committee
The Christian Science Literature Joint Distribution Committee in Bothell, WA, gives Christian Science literature to people who want it, including those new to Christian Science, dedicated members of the Christian Science church, and anyone in between.
They accept used Christian Science literature and other items and redistribute it. The committee also does outreach projects with new and used Christian Science literature and supports Christian Scientists involved in outreach by providing free literature, a community network, and a place to share experiences.

Sunrise Haven is a non-profit Christian Science nursing service located in the Puget Sound region. We serve as a resource to our community for any need related to Christian Science nursing care. We do not provide medical care or employ medical staff, but instead support quick and whole healing through the study and practice of Christian Science.

Our mission is to is to serve the Cause of Christian Science and humanity by providing resources for the education and development of Christian Scientists.
We provide loans, scholarships and grants for the education of Christian Scientists around the world. We encourage each of our recipients to “pass the blessing forward” by contributing to the Christian Science Movement, their communities and the world.

Asher Student Foundation* (ASF) supports and nurtures the daily practice of Christian Science by providing residential housing for Christian Scientists of all ages, including: current students and student interns enrolled in accredited graduate, undergraduate, degree and certificate programs; Christian Science nurse trainees and individuals taking Christian Science Class Instruction; and students transitioning from school to career.
Asher Houses are located in eight cities around the country, and each one offers an inviting, comfortable, safe, home-like base for students while they pursue their academic and career goals. Please be in touch with us to learn how you can be involved as a student, parent, local advisory council member, career mentor and/or financial sponsor.
