Friday Program – The Mother Church’s First Annual Meeting

What did they talk about at the first few Mother Church Annual Meetings? Our dive into Reading Room resources this week will take us to a period when things were really hopping, including: a new order of church services, the building of The Mother Church, a change in Friday meetings (yes, Friday) to “experience meetings,” and sermons from a new Pastor, the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. We’ll consult Christian Science Journals from the 1890s, at least two books, and The Mary Baker Eddy Library website.
