Open house at First Church, Tacoma

 First Church of Christ, Scientist, Tacoma 

Invites you to an open house and celebration of the restoration of our stained glass dome window

Saturday, November 18, 2023, at 2 p.m. 

The program includes:

• Musical selections on the pipe organ before and after the program 
• History and architecture of the previous and current Christian Science church buildings at the corner of Division Avenue and I Street 
• A presentation by Blake LaRue, of Sacred View Studio, Tacoma, describing his restoration of the stained glass window in the dome of the church 
• There will be time for questions and answers
• Self-guided tours of the building will be available after the presentation

Please note that there is an accessible entrance to the main floor on Division Avenue. It is accessible from the parking lot via a sidewalk that runs along the side of the church. The restrooms are located downstairs; there is no elevator. 

Parking is available in the lot behind the church on I Street.
